No single compilation of the information pertaining to the assorted types of inputs needed by a farmer to make his effort 100% productive, can ever be deemed to be complete and exhaustive, given the vastness of the domain. However, there are several global magazines which do considerable justice in fulfilling the same to a very large extent. The Farmers Weekly, whose title is self explanatory by its intent, is one such publication from the UK. Several other options like Buy and Sell with quick access provision, FW Academy, Events, Rural Living, Jobs, Awards, etc. provide access through Forums to a wide gamut of activities covering farming and farmers. Latest farming hiccups getting publicised under their 'Wreckers Yard' caption is an interesting feature.

Seems a lot of northern news and livestock. We are in fenland and don’t see much about our area?
I am a tenant farmer and although I consider myself well educated MRICS I find a lot of the reading very technical and hard to read. My late husband looked forward to the magazine each week but as in life he found the unnecessary use of large / not commonly used words very off putting making it difficult to read or understand. I read the magazine to keep updated, but often most important things are hardly mentioned at grass roots level - ie ongoing pig crisis / bird flu. More articles relevant to us basic farmers - we aren't all mulit million pound businesses with college kiddies in offices running farms
